During the days when Central Vietnam endured relentless storms and flooding, and even after the waters receded, leaving homes, school materials, and daily essentials washed away, what remained was the resilience and solidarity within the community. In an effort to provide timely support, Imexpharm collaborated with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities to distribute essential care medicine kits to residents in severely affected areas as a practical form of assistance.
In November and December of 2025, thousands of these care medicine kits were distributed to flood-affected communities in Nha Trang and Phu Yen through local healthcare networks including Dong Nai Children’s Hospital, Ngoc Minh Clinic, Children’s Hospital 2 – Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, and other medical institutions. Each kit contained essential and practical healthcare products such as probiotics, vitamins, medicated oils, cold medicine, and fever–pain relievers, all prepared carefully by the Imexpharm team in accordance with professional guidelines.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Ngoc – Vice President of the Vietnam Respiratory Society, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Society of Respiratory Medicine, and Chairman of the Board of Ngoc Minh General Clinic – shared that after flooding, elderly people, young children, and individuals with chronic diseases are the most vulnerable due to weakened immunity. Cold, damp weather and contaminated water increase the risk of respiratory illnesses such as flu and pneumonia, as well as gastrointestinal diseases. Therefore, he urges residents to use protective gear when cleaning, stay warm, treat fever properly, and avoid self-medicating without medical guidance.
“Having basic medicines such as probiotics, vitamins, cold medicine, fever reducers, or medicated oils, is especially important during this period. These kits not only help people manage common symptoms promptly but also support doctors and pharmacists in their relief efforts for flood-affected communities,” he added.
