Twenty-five years after establishing its Hanoi branch, Imexpharm Corporation is strengthening its presence in Northern Vietnam to improve access to its products and better serve customers in the region.
On August 26, Imexpharm Corporation, a leading Vietnamese pharmaceutical manufacturer with production facilities meeting WHO-GMP and EU-GMP standards, held the grand opening ceremony of its new Hai Phong Branch. The branch is located at Lot TT3-KD-13-05, No. 164 Le Duan Street, Ecoriver Eco-Urban Area, Tan Hung Ward, Hai Phong City.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Hai Phong Department of Health, local authorities of Tan Hung Ward, customers, strategic partners, Imexpharm’s executive leadership, and the Hai Phong Branch team.
Imexpharm representatives and honored guests cut the ribbon to officially open the Hai Phong Branch, marking a new chapter in market expansion.
After 49 years of development, Imexpharm’s distribution network continues to expand, comprising 12 branches in the South, 5 branches in the Central region, and 2 branches in the North. With its strategic location, the Hai Phong Branch will strengthen connections with customers and partners while expanding Imexpharm’s reach across Hai Phong and neighboring provinces. This expansion will enable the Company to better meet the growing demand for WHO-GMP and EU-GMP compliant medicines among hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
The inauguration of the Hai Phong Branch marks another important milestone in Imexpharm’s nearly five-decade journey and represents its second branch in Northern Vietnam, 25 years after its initial entry into the region. As digital platforms continue to transform traditional distribution models, establishing a physical presence in Hai Phong reflects Imexpharm’s commitment to improving convenience, strengthening customer service, and ensuring timely access to quality medicines for patients.
Founded in 1977, Imexpharm Corporation operates four manufacturing plant clusters, with production facilities meeting WHO-GMP and EU-GMP standards. Its product portfolio covers a wide range of therapeutic areas, including antibiotics, respiratory, digestive, and musculoskeletal treatments, as well as general healthcare products. Imexpharm currently has the largest EU-GMP manufacturing capacity in Vietnam and holds leading market positions in antibiotics and cough remedies, with annual revenue approaching VND 3 trillion.
