Imexpharm honored for contributions to Vietnam's stock market on 20th anniversary celebration

On July 20, 2020, Imexpharm was honored with a Certificate of Merit from the State Securities Commission for its significant contributions to the development of the stock market during the 2015–2020 period. Additionally, the company received a 20th Anniversary Commemorative Medal from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.

As part of Vietnam's stock market 20th anniversary celebrations, Imexpharm proudly stands as the first pharmaceutical company to be listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.

Twenty years ago, the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Center, the predecessor of today’s Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), was established, marking the official birth of Vietnam’s stock market. Over two decades, the market has witnessed numerous challenges, including global economic and local financial crises, and has proven to be one of the most critical channels for capital mobilization.

Over 14 years as a public company, Imexpharm has been a proactive contributor to the growth and advancement of Vietnam's stock market. The company has contributed to shaping policy by providing valuable input to amend laws and regulations, addressing challenges faced by businesses, fostering investor confidence, and elevating the reputation of Vietnam's stock market on the global stage.

With a commitment to transparent governance, Imexpharm has been recognized for two consecutive years as the best-governed company in the mid-cap group. The company has become a leading example in creating a transparent and secure environment for investors. While these contributions may seem intangible, Imexpharm takes pride in having laid a small but vital brick in the foundation of the stock market’s growth.

In the coming years, Imexpharm is committed to further improving its corporate governance, actively contributing to the stock market’s development, and spreading messages of transparency to help build a stronger, more resilient market.
