Imexpharm partners with community pharmacists to deliver frontline community healthcare

By participating in the 4th Expanded Scientific Conference for Community Pharmacists 2026, Imexpharm continues to introduce effective, safe solutions aligned with real-world treatment needs at pharmacies.

Enhancing professional knowledge and pharmacy practice

In Vietnam, pharmacies remain the first point of contact for most people when facing mild or newly emerging health issues. This makes the role of community pharmacists increasingly important in guiding patients on safe and effective medication use, as well as managing common conditions.

As pharmacies become the most accessible healthcare touchpoint for communities, strengthening pharmacists’ professional capacity is more critical than ever. Held over two days, April 3-4, 2026, in Da Nang, the 4th Expanded Scientific Conference for Community Pharmacists, organized by the Hanoi Pharmacy Association in collaboration with the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Association, attracted more than 1.500 medical professionals nationwide , including 500 in-person and 1.000 online attendees. The conference served as a large-scale professional forum where pharmacists could update knowledge, exchange experiences, and connect within an increasingly specialized professional ecosystem.

This year’s program focused on core aspects of pharmacy practice, from safe medication counseling and disease monitoring to updates on emerging treatment trends—highlighting the expanding role of pharmacists in frontline healthcare. Presentations by doctors and experts were highly practical, with notable topics including women’s health issues such as iron deficiency, contraception, and menopause, as well as the application of probiotics in treatment support.

The conference also addressed treatment trends for common conditions such as allergies, respiratory diseases, cardiovascular conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders-areas where pharmacists frequently provide consultation. In alignment with this practical focus, Imexpharm introduced a specialized session titled “Breakthrough in Formulation Technology: Dispersible Tablets”, while also presenting effective treatment solutions for common conditions such as colds, cough, and fever. This reflects Imexpharm’s nearly 50-year commitment to staying closely connected with pharmacists and accompanying the medical community through professional scientific platforms.

Previously, from February 21–23, 2026, Imexpharm also accompanied the HCM City Respiratory Society Annual Congress 2026 (HRS 2026) and The 42nd Annual Scientific Conference on Ear, Nose and Throat, contributing to the dissemination of the latest medical advancements to the healthcare community and improving treatment quality in Vietnam.
