In September 2017, Imexpharm organized an Union Delegates’ Congress in Dong Thap Province, with the attendance of Ms. Trần Thị Bích Hằng, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union, representatives from the Đồng Tháp Provincial Labor Confederation, representatives of the Party Committee of the company, including Ms Trần Thị Đào, Party Secretary, along with 85 delegates representing the company’s affiliated trade union groups.
At the start of the program, the atmosphere was energized by musical performances from award-winning contestants of the company’s recent Radio Singing Contest. During more than four hours of active and professional work, the Presidium delivered the performance review report for the 2012–2017 term. The Congress also held discussions to contribute ideas for the development direction of the upcoming 2017–2022 term.
Notably, the Congress listened to guidance from higher-level union representatives and received detailed, practical directives from the company’s Party Committee representatives.
The Congress concluded successfully with many resolutions, policies, and directions unanimously approved by the delegates. A new Executive Committee of 13 members was elected, with Ms. Trần Thị Tố Nữ, Director of Human Resource Development, re-elected as Chairwoman for the 2017–2022 term.
The members of this new Executive Committee are relatively young, promising a fresh, dynamic, enthusiastic, and responsible approach. We wish the new Executive Committee good health and success in achieving the goals set for the 2017–2022 term.
