The ceremony to honor outstanding teachers and students for the 2019-2020 academic year, supported by Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, was held on September 27 at the auditorium of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap Province. The event was attended by Mr. Doan Tan Buu, Vice Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, along with esteemed teachers, parents, and students.
The Nguyen Sinh Sac Academic Achievement Award, presented at the ceremony, is an annual award sponsored by Imexpharm through its Scholarship Fund for over 20 years. This year, the Dong Thap Provincial Study Promotion Association honored 102 teachers and students for their exceptional achievements during the 2019-2020 academic year. Through this program, Imexpharm expressed its gratitude for the dedication of teachers and the perseverance of students in overcoming difficulties to achieve outstanding results, especially during the challenges posed by the pandemic. Due to ongoing health concerns, the ceremony was streamlined to be brief yet impactful.

In addition to the awards ceremony, Imexpharm was honored to sponsor the "Enhancing the Capacity of Modern Teachers" Training Program, which has covered five key topics. The company received positive feedback from participating teachers regarding the program’s practical and impactful content, which has greatly benefited their teaching work. Despite numerous challenges in 2020, Imexpharm successfully organized the second training course for 12 rigorously selected teachers from the province.

Mr. Ngo Minh Tuan, Vice General Director of Imexpharm, speaking at the ceremony
For Imexpharm, the development of the company goes hand-in-hand with the growth of the community, particularly the local community. Imexpharm places special emphasis on healthcare, its core business area, while also investing in education, understanding that knowledge is the foundation of success. Over the years, despite ups and downs, Imexpharm has consistently made its contributions - small but meaningful - to encourage, nurture, and provide opportunities for talented individuals. These young achievers, full of passion and ambition today, will contribute to the prosperity of their hometown in the near future. Indeed, over the past 20 years, many beneficiaries of the Nguyen Sinh Sac Scholarship Program have grown into mid-level managers, outstanding employees, and key personnel at Imexpharm and other local institutions.

Imexpharm also shares the collective joy of Sa Dec City, which was recently recognized by UNESCO as a "Learning City," implementing lifelong learning practices at the local level as part of its sustainable development strategy. Imexpharm sincerely wishes teachers good health and success, and encourages students to excel academically, making their families and society proud. May the people of Dong Thap achieve new heights in the future.
