On July 24, to commemorate War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Imexpharm provided comprehensive medical examinations and medication distribution to veterans and underprivileged individuals.

The program was coordinated and directly overseen by Mr. Duong Quoc Dinh, Director of Dong Thap Military-Civilian Hospital, and Dr. Pham Duy Thang, Deputy Director, along with a dedicated team of doctors and nurses. Imexpharm members were proud to contribute to the smooth and thoughtful execution of the program, demonstrating empathy and sincerity towards the patients.

In line with the commitment to community responsibility, at community examination and medication distribution events, Imexpharm always ensures the supply of the necessary medications with superior quality and effectiveness. Access to quality medications from the Imexpharm brand has helped reduce treatment time and burdens, improving the health quality for local residents. In this activity, in addition to veterans, over 250 individuals in difficult circumstances were also supported with thorough medical examinations and medication distribution. Timely support for the right people has yielded practical results, as evaluated and recognized by local authorities.

It is noted that Tan My, Binh Tan, Tan Phu, and Phu Loi are four rural communes in Thanh Binh district, located over 7 km from the district hospital and 25 km from the provincial hospital. The difficult transportation conditions and limited means of travel create many disadvantages for accessing medical services, especially for elderly patients, the disabled, and those living alone. Therefore, this free medical examination and medication distribution program is of great significance, addressing some of the health concerns of rural residents.

The program not only involved the hospital and business collaboration but also received support from students participating in the Mùa Hè Xanh (Green Summer Volunteer Campaign) in the area, helping to spread the noble values and the traditional ethos of “Remembering those who contributed to the nation” to younger generations. Thuy An, a fourth-year student in Food Technology at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (HUTECH), said: “Our group is responsible for directing and guiding the elderly to ensure smooth and efficient medical examinations and medication distribution. We are very happy to join the elderly and other members of the team in this noble act on War Invalids and Martyrs Day this year.”

At the end of the program, representatives from the four communes expressed their gratitude to the medical team, sponsors, and logistical members. For Imexpharm members, the program left a profound emotional impact as it was an opportunity to realize the gratitude owed to those who contributed to the country, reflecting the sentiment of remembering the source of our water. This is part of the cultural tradition of compassion that Imexpharm has maintained throughout its 46-year journey of formation and development.
