On the morning of September 14, 120 outstanding teachers, coaches, students, and university students from the 2018–2019 academic year were honored for their excellence by the People’s Committee of Dong Thap Province and Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Ton Hoang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
In the 2018–2019 academic year, Dong Thap’s education sector achieved remarkable accomplishments, receiving high praise from the Ministry of Education and Training for its exceptional performance. High school students from the province ranked among the top three nationwide in national competitions for gifted students and earned numerous awards in various national contests.
During the ceremony, Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company awarded VND725 million to reward students, university students, teachers, and coaches for their outstanding achievements over the past academic year.
This incentive scholarship and talent recognition initiative has been consistently implemented by Imexpharm for nearly 20 years. Additionally, in 2019, the company sponsored an advanced teacher training course for educators from two specialized high schools in the province.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, congratulated the commended teachers, coaches, and students while acknowledging and expressing gratitude for Imexpharm's significant contributions to promoting education and nurturing talent. These efforts play a crucial role in developing future human resources for Dong Thap Province.
The Chairman also encouraged students and university students to continue striving for excellence. In addition to academic achievements, he emphasized the importance of cultivating soft skills, physical fitness, foreign language proficiency, and IT skills to meet societal demands.
