Imexparm hosts successfully Union Delegates’ Congress for 2023-2028

The Imexpharm’s Union Delegates’ Congress for 2023-2028 was held on May 22, welcoming Comrade Phạm Thị Thanh Thủy - Vice President of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union, Comrade Trần Hoàng Vũ - President of the Đồng Tháp Provincial Labor Federation, Comrade Trần Thị Đào - Party Secretary, General Director of Imexpharm, and members of the Executive Board of Imexpharm, along with 105 official delegates representing more than 1,200 union members from 52 union groups across the country.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the 2017–2022 term presented the final report on the past term’s activities and outlined the directions for the upcoming term. Thanks to the efforts of the Executive Committee and the enthusiasm and responsibility of the union members, the Imexpharm union was honored with the Flag of Emulation by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

After a serious and regulation-compliant working session, the Congress elected the new Executive Committee for the 2023–2028 term, consisting of 13 members, with a 3-member Standing Committee. Among the elected members, Comrade Đinh Công Trọng Nghĩa, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Head of the Administrative Human Resources Department, was entrusted with the position of Union President. Comrade Lê Thị Tuyết Minh, Party Committee Member, Secretary of Branch 2, Head of Sales Support Department, was elected as Vice President of the Union. The Union's Inspection Committee was composed of 3 members, with Comrade Nguyễn Hồng Ngọc, Deputy Secretary of Branch 1, Deputy Head of the Finance and Accounting Department, continuing in his role as Head of the Inspection Committee. Additionally, the Congress elected 3 official delegates to attend the 14th Vietnam Medical Trade Union Congress and 1 official delegate to attend the 11th Đồng Tháp Provincial Labor Federation Congress.

With the dynamic and passionate leadership of the new Executive Committee, it is expected that they will continue to build upon the important foundations of the previous terms and effectively fulfill their roles and responsibilities as outlined in the regulations. On this occasion, the Party Committee and Executive Board of Imexpharm also expressed special appreciation to Comrade Trần Thị Tố Nữ, Chairwoman of the Imexpharm grassroots union, for her contributions over the past two terms. She has always been dedicated and made significant contributions to the union’s activities at Imexpharm.
