Imexpharm was honored to host the “Melody of a Century” program on March 23, 2019, at the 4th-floor auditorium of the company's headquarters, to celebrate the remarkable life and values of Music Master Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo.
These heartfelt verses echo the emotions of a son returning to his homeland after 45 years. Đồng Tháp, the land that "became his soul," nurtured the roots of Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo - a towering figure in Vietnamese traditional music. His life's journey is intricately woven into Đồng Tháp's rich history, making his return not just a homecoming, but a profound celebration of art, identity, and belonging.
Having lived through 102 springs, a rarity in life’s journey, the maestro carried a wealth of experiences and insights. Yet, he humbly remarked, “What I know is but a grain of sand; what I do not know is the vast ocean.”
As a company deeply rooted in the lotus land of Đồng Tháp, Imexpharm holds profound respect for the historical and musical legacy, life lessons, and noble values embodied by Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo. Guided by this admiration, Imexpharm had the honor of organizing The Century Melody program on March 23, 2019, at the 4th-floor auditorium of its headquarters.
Living with altruism and a youthful, optimistic spirit - these were the ideals Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo shared with Imexpharm members during the program. Through stories drawn from a life shaped by challenges and triumphs, he imparted invaluable lessons on embracing a joyful, healthy, and meaningful life. His seemingly simple anecdotes carried profound wisdom, brimming with positivity and inspiration.
The event was also privileged to welcome Mr. Lê Minh Hoan, Secretary of the Đồng Tháp Provincial Party Committee, who facilitated the maestro’s return to Dong Thap - the ‘Lotus Land’. He reflected, "From what Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo has conveyed, we must learn even more, never becoming complacent or satisfied with who we are today. Pour your heart into your passions, and the rewards will naturally follow."
As the program concluded, People's Doctor and Pharmacist Trần Thị Đào, General Director of Imexpharm, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo and sincere thanks to the Provincial Party Secretary. She shared her deep admiration and inspiration drawn from the maestro’s extraordinary life: “Maestro Nguyễn Vĩnh Bảo is a rare, living witness to music history, possessing unparalleled intellect and sharpness over the span of a century. His delicate, masterful, and transcendent music has resonated globally, captivating countless international learners who hold him in the highest esteem.”
The cozy atmosphere of the auditorium, the maestro’s friendly and humorous demeanor, and the heartfelt engagement of all attendees made the program a resounding success, leaving behind lasting memories. Each participant undoubtedly felt a personal emotional connection, yet all shared a common sentiment - a deep sense of honor and joy in meeting the maestro.
