The training program, “Advancing Modern Principals’ Capacity,” co-organized by the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Study Promotion Association, and Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, successfully concluded its third cohort and officially launched its fourth cohort on August 24.
The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Doan Tan Buu; leaders from the Department of Education and Training; the Provincial Study Promotion Association; and Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, the program’s sponsor. Mr. Nguyen Van Huu, Director of CoachingOne Vietnam Training and Coaching Organization and the course instructor, was also present.
The program has been in operation since 2019. To date, it has completed three training courses, benefiting 46 school management staff from secondary and high schools throughout Dong Thap Province. The third training session included 22 participants, consisting of principals and vice principals from 21 secondary and high schools in the province, all of whom completed 100% of the program.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dinh, Chairman of Imexpharm's Board of Directors, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhan, President of the Provincial Study Promotion Association, present certificates of completion to the participants of the third cohort.
The fourth cohort, comprising 22 participants, officially commenced and is scheduled to run for 12 months (from August 2022 to July 2023), continuing under the instruction of Mr. Nguyen Van Huu.

Vice Chairman Doan Tan Buu congratulated the participants and expressed his gratitude to Imexpharm, Mr. Nguyen Van Huu, the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Study Promotion Association for organizing such an impactful training course. He also shared his confidence in the foundational values that Mr. Nguyen Van Huu brought to the program.
Mr. Doan Tan Buu emphasized that the training and development of human resources is a key focus for the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee. The continued launch of new training sessions underscores a commitment to educational advancement, specifically to the responsibility toward teachers and management staff, who play an essential role in guiding students and contributing to human resource development for the province.
According to the Department of Education and Training, through the training program, teachers have been introduced to 12 highly useful and practical modules that enhance their awareness, mindset, and skills in line with modern educational trends. Teachers have applied the content and methods learned to school management, teaching practices, and educational activities within their institutions, spreading the positive lessons gained. Notably, they utilize the taught methods to handle educational situations tactfully and gain insights into students' psychology and emotions, allowing for innovative teaching approaches that optimize educational outcomes.
